Details The First-ever Transcontinental Book signing Brought to the reading world by Margaret Atwood and Unotchit After going on countless book tours around the world, and becoming increasingly exhausted by the entire experience, acclaimed Canadian writer Margaret Atwood wondered if there weren’t an easier way to interact with her fans across time and space. Lo and behold, Unotchit (pronounced you-no-touch-it) developed the LongPen, a device that allows book buyers in one place to interact with writers in another. They can chat with each other, see each other, and most amazingly, the writer can sign a book with a personal message remotely, using technology that will be revealed for the first time March 5th. In London for the London Book Fair, Margaret Atwood will sit down and sign copies of her new book The Tent for customers in New York at McNally Robinson Booksellers. We’re honored to be a part of this monumental event, and invite you to join us for the festivities.
